What our clients say

"Completing the Career Guidance and Development Level 6 qualification has been both enjoyable and thoroughly rewarding. Working full time whilst studying has had its challenges. However, Peninsula training has thought about their course delivery carefully and the course is broken down into manageable units. The support given during each online session is engaging and supportive. I always felt comfortable asking for clarification of information.
I would certainly use peninsula training again and can’t thank the team enough for their support from start to finish".

"The leadership and management level 5 diploma has been an interesting and useful programme and has supported staff in their roles as managers. Delegates have reported that the sessions are engaging, and that John makes even the driest of material interesting and relevant. Support with assessment is always available and John is very responsive to queries."

"John has led me through the CDI funded Level 6 Career Leader Certificate, and then delivered the top up to the full Level 6 Career Guidance and Development Diploma. It was purely by chance that Peninsula Training was part of my Career Leader training (I was allocated to the company by the CDI). I was so impressed by John's level of knowledge and expertise as well as the professional delivery and quick, supportive responses to questions and clear, timely feedback to submissions that when wanting to top up to the full diploma it was an easy decision; of course I was going to continue with John and Peninsula Training. This level of support, clarity of expectation and quality of delivery has been unwaivering across the two years it has taken me to complete the Level 6 qualification. John was always empathetic and understanding of the fact that completion of this course was on top of working full time and being a parent, whilst making sure that the pace of delivery was maintained and submissions were of the correct standard. I am so excited about what the next steps of my career might entail now that I have qualified as a careers advisor, and that is in no small part due to John and Peninsula Training; I would recommend him without reservation as a professional of the highest quality".

“My contact with Peninsula training from start to finish has been exceptional. At Truro & Penwith College we have had a large amount of IAG based staff take on the Level 6 in Careers Guidance and Development; therefore, my initial conversations with John Walker about the arrangements and our institutional needs were regarded in the best possible way, taking into account current workloads and learning style. John proposed a realistic plan of action, putting in achievable dates to take on all of the modules - all the time he encouraged regular communication with himself and also taking on the learning as a group. This was reassuring for the cohort as they shared good practice and understood how the level 6 linked to varying caseloads (dependant on job role). John is extremely professional and his years of experience within CEIAG and training shine through - it is clear that his involvement with the Career Development Institute and his network of contacts ensures that he at the cutting edge of careers education.”

"We held a contract with Peninsula for almost 10 years to deliver training for practitioners working with families and managers.
Learners’ feedback has been consistently excellent, learners have felt well supported to achieve accreditation and have recommended the programmes to others meaning that we have been able to implement workforce development in relation to working as a partnership to ensure we have a shared understanding of the principles of family working, a focus on a whole family assessment and family and an understanding of the impact of our work as well as the ability to use sound evidence-based, outcome-focussed practice and learning from their own experience as well as from peers.

I have found Peninsula training to be reliable, dependable, flexible and effective and can fully recommend them!

"“Having completed the Level 6 Certificate in Careers Leadership with John as the trainer, it was an easy decision to enrol with Peninsula for the Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. Whilst the pace of the seminars and assessments was mainly led by us as students, John was both encouraging and supportive in completing the units in an appropriate timescale.
The theory for each unit was delivered in live online sessions which fostered many a professional dialogue relating it back to our own individual experiences and workplaces which greatly helped contextualise the content and further validated the rationale of the course. The assessments whilst intense were extremely well supported with guidance from John and feedback was in depth and timely. The sessions and assessments times were mutually agreed with the other students and John in the group taking into account peoples work commitments whilst keeping the pace and momentum going for completion.  Johns’ extensive knowledge and passion for Career Guidance is simply infectious and I cannot recommend this course highly enough for anyone wishing to gain the underlying knowledge and understanding of career guidance and management and to drive forwards the importance of careers within the workplace setting with the individualised support John gave. Thank you John for the inspiration!”
