What our clients say

"I have commissioned Peninsula to provide not only independent advocacy training NVQ3 but also facilitated workshops to fully understand the impact of the changes in legislation and how we can meet the challenges particularly from the Care Act. The feedback from all, has consistently been outstanding and how much it has been a pleasure to learn with Peninsula support".

"We have held a contract with Peninsula for almost 3 years to deliver training for practitioners working with families and in the last year for managers; their learners’ feedback has been consistently excellent, learners have felt well supported to achieve accreditation and have recommended the programmes to others meaning that we have been able to implement workforce development in relation to working as a partnership to ensure we have a shared understanding of the principles of family working, a focus on a whole family assessment and family plan and an understanding of the impact of our work as well as the ability to use sound evidence-based, outcome-focussed practice and learning from their own experience as well as from peers.

I have found Peninsula training to be reliable, dependable, flexible and effective and can fully recommend them!

"The London Borough of Croydon commissioned John Walker at Peninsula Training to deliver 2 CPD workshops aimed at Careers Coordinators/ Senior strategic leads in our schools and colleges which took place in April 2016 and a follow up session in February 2017.  John was able to introduce current careers education policy, benchmark standards e.g. Gatsby and resources in a bitesize way that were immediately applicable for delegates to take away and use to improve their practice. 14 out of 16 schools fed back that the sessions were either very or somewhat informative.  A number of delegates commented that they found John’s action planning section very helpful to resolve issues with CEIAG in their schools.   John’s session with Governors in April 2016 was also found to be very useful by all who attended, who were motivated to go away and speak to Head Teachers about potential improvements to CEIAG strategies in their schools.  As a local authority we have found John’s sessions to be very useful and highly applicable to CEIAG leads in schools with clear outcomes in their change of attitude and awareness of resources to improve practices.  We thank John for his
support to our borough and genuine, positive and uplifting style of doing so."
