About the programme

This programme has been developed by Peninsula to support the further development of strategic thinking within a range of settings across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Peninsula has a proven track record in supporting a range of organisations to develop their managers through focused learning and development activities to support service development and implementation.

The Programme Aims and Outcomes

This programme will help participants consider some of the key functions and challenges of management and leadership that currently many organisation face. These including financial, economic, political, reputation, positioning and demographic. 

By the end of the programme participants will be able to consider and apply:
  • Leadership, management and strategic thinking: How do we bring clarity and vision to organisations and job roles?  
  • Approaches to using strategic direction to inform day to day responsibilities
  • Techniques to help manage upwards, downwards and to the side 
  • Change as a tool for planning rather than as a barrier to future delivery 
  • Emotionally literate leadership 
  • Motivational approaches to team development
  • Action planning to take learning forward 

Delivery of the Programme

This programme can be delivered as an on-line only, face to face or blended approach to learning.
