Independent Advocacy Level 3

 Advocacy Skills Development Programme

About the programme

The intention of this learning programme is to support people who act as Advocates in a wide range of situations where advocacy is one of the key processes to ensure client engagement and empowerment. The desired outcomes of advocacy should be to help people play the lead role in decisions impacting on their lives and help redress the feeling of powerlessness and isolation. The learning programme has been developed as an integrated framework to provide learning, development and skills practice.
This learner programme contains a professional knowledge base, tools and techniques for advocates working with service users in a wide range of settings.
