Training...it's what we do!

Welcome to Peninsula

We Deliver a wide range of Training and development courses in the UK

Peninsula was established by John and Karen Walker in 2003 and now provides training programmes, learning and development opportunities and qualifications for learners across the whole of the UK. Many of our programmes are provided for local authorities and businesses, but we also support individual learners who wish to further their professional development. We also offer Career Guidance Services to schools and colleges and consultancy support in business leadership and development. We became an ILM Centre a number of years ago and can provide management training to L5. .

We focus on learning and development opportunities covering a wide range of topics and sectors including career guidance and development, communication skills, managing difficult conversations, performance management and staff who work with children, young people, parents, families and adults requiring social care. Many of our programmes link to qualification opportunities and we are an assessment centre for OCR, City and Guilds and ILM. We have developed a process of closely linking qualification requirements to the taught inputs we deliver, which simplifies the process for learners and clearly shows the link between learning and practice.
We provide many of our qualifications using a range of delivery methods including blended learning, fully on-line or face to face.

What our clients say

"The leadership and management level 5 diploma has been an interesting and useful programme and has supported staff in their roles as managers. Delegates have reported that the sessions are engaging, and that John makes even the driest of material interesting and relevant. Support with assessment is always available and John is very responsive to queries."

"I have commissioned Peninsula to provide not only independent advocacy training NVQ3 but also facilitated workshops to fully understand the impact of the changes in legislation and how we can meet the challenges particularly from the Care Act. The feedback from all, has consistently been outstanding and how much it has been a pleasure to learn with Peninsula support".
